How to find people living in a competitor's replies on X
The people who reply to your competitor's every post are their most engaged prospects and customers, sitting in one place, in public. You don't have to guess who cares about your category. Your competitor already gathered them for you.
Why it means they're buying
Engagement with a competitor is a strong proxy for fit and interest. Someone who argues with, praises, or asks questions of your rival is already in the market. The audience is pre-qualified and pre-sorted, by your competitor's own account.
How to find them on X
These searches surface the signal. Save the ones that work for your market and run them daily, the good ones go stale fast.

What to look for
You can also just open your rival's profile and skim the replies on their recent posts by hand. Either way, go for the question-askers and the mildly frustrated. Someone asking your rival a question hasn't been fully sold, which is your opening.
How to reach out
Engage on the substance of their reply, don't cold-pitch out of nowhere. Add something useful to the thread first, then the DM lands warm instead of random. Context is the whole difference here.
Doing it automatically
Athra can watch a competitor's replies as a standing source, pull the people worth reaching, check who's DMable, and keep only the new ones each day, so you're not scrolling their mentions by hand.
